Atlantis the Palm is a five-star hotel resort nestled on a 46-hectare (110 acres) area at the apex of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Themed on the myth of Atlantis but showcases unique Arabian elements, it holds the distinction as the first resort constructed on the island. It opened in 2008.
Within the hotel are various attractions like Aquaventure Waterpark, Atlantis Dive Center and Dolphin Bay. We did go to the Lost Chambers Aquarium which exhibits more than 70,000 fish and sea creatures.
You cannot take breathtaking views inside like the front façade of the nautically-themed resort facing the ocean unless you make prior reservation like for instance, for dinner. You can arrange everything at the information desk at the lobby, just exactly what we did, should you wish to dine in one of the resort’s restaurants.
Atlantis the Palm is one of the Top 10 Landmarks in Dubai that offers spectacular views of the Dubai skyline or the Arabian Sea.
Getting there. From Mall of the Emirates (MOE), we took a metered taxi down Atlantis the Palm for an afternoon of delight.
