Irene Corpuz, Inspiring Filipina in Middle East
For Irene Corpuz, Filipinos are humble and hard working.
“Most of the time, we don’t get the treatment that we deserve, not even the right compensation for our contributions to the company. But let’s leave something for ourselves. We all deserve to be respected, regardless of our nationality, our gender, our qualifications. Dream and try to reach for your dream.”
This line of thinking has led her to where she is now. An achiever at 45, she is a holder of Masters of Science in IT and Business Management from a reputed school in UK. She has been classified as EFQM 2013 Certified Assessor (Brussels) , Certified Trainer – Internal Assessor Training (Brussels), ISO QMS Internal Auditor, Certified Project Manager (PMI USA), Certified IT Service Manager (ITIL) and ITIL V3 Foundation Certified.
“I also do extra-curricular work for personal development.” She has joined as a preliminary judge in the Customer Service Awards, and she was a member of the Final Judges for the 2013 International Business Awards. She has written documents that made the client receive awards like the ASTD Awards in the USA and the HR Middle East Excellence Awards.
