From her cubicle as a Sales Staff Assistant in Makati City to her fully-furnished office in metropolitan Dubai, as Business Development Manager for GCC and SEA then as Head Sales for GCC of Trans-Fast, the story of this Filipina achiever is arguably one that is inspiring and worthy of our attention.

Young and energetic, Raquel C. Ignacio-Aquino, 36, was possessed by a burning desire to acquire a   challenging and rewarding post in a dynamic and stable organization. Gradually climbing the ladder of corporate success, she made history at Trans-Fast Remittance LLC when for a period of eight months, from May to December in 2009, she was able to push for an increase in remittance from 300 transactions to more than 50,000 – a feat that remains unsurpassed.

She never thought that her career would flourish. “All I dreamed was to secure a work that best suits my academic background and work experiences which will fully utilize my skills and capability,” said Raquel who earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and restaurant Management from the University of Sto. Tomas (UST) in 1998.
