Ace Roger A. Labuac, who is Finance Manager – MEA IT of PepsiCo, considers himself a mountaineer who has started going up the mountain but still has lots to go through to get to the top.
The most important thing for him is to enjoy the process of getting there. Charmed by this belief, Ace Roger A. Labuac moved to Dubai and was hired as Business Analyst at the MEA Headquarters of Goodyear Middle East FZE.
“I enjoy numbers and being able to influence decisions because of what the numbers say,” said Ace who holds licenses in three states. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Philippines), a Certified Management Accountant (USA) and a Registered Cost Accountant (Australia). He was an 8th placer in the CPA examinations given in 2007.
He enjoys his personal journey. “For me, the greatest achievement is being a good son to my parents and a good kuya to my siblings.” Ace was born in Pasay City to spouses Roena B. Amaliza and Eugenio J. Labuac. His siblings are Geoffrey, John Rey, Jaymoore, Eugene and Genius.
His passion for teaching others and touching lives inspired him to be very actively involved in coaching those Dubai-based candidates who want to fulfill their dream of becoming Philippine CPAs.
He believes that each one has been given gifts which could be shared to the world. “If you don’t share it with others, you will feel something lacking deep inside. Sense of fulfillment comes from contributing to a cause bigger than your own self. And with this vision in mind, you’ll be surprised to see yourself moving forward… always moving forward”.
