I just discovered the secret of happiness. It’s just simply not to be sad. Just like the secret of brightness is not to be dark and the secret of good is not to be bad. Why make it any more complicated? -Antonalities. 

Anton R. Tajanlangit is a professional musician being a pianist, songwriter, band manager, nightclub owner, piano teacher and vocal coach.

He studied music composition under Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and Piano under Dean Ramon P. Santos at the University of the Philippines College of Music, Diliman, Quezon City.

He organized his family band made up of his parents (mother is a doctor of medicine and concert pianist who studied Music at the University of Sto. Tomas and was the youngest ever graduate there at the age of 15) with their 4 sons and 4 daughters and performed in road shows, concerts and on TV all around the Philippines and abroad.

He owns and performs with “The Aquatones” a talent pool of musicians and singers doing various gigs in an out of the UAE.

He was first elected President of the University of the Philippines Alumni in the UAE for two consecutive terms.

He was Project Director of ABS-CBN’s TFC Pop Star Search which ran for three years, 2005-2007, with a house and lot given to the winner each year.

He was Regional Director for the Arabian Gulf Region of the World Championship of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California, USA, for three years, 2008-2010; covering the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.

A proud owner of Klub 88, the premier night club in Ras Al Khaimah, which started in Ras Al Khaimah Hotel in 2007 and re-opened at Iceland Water Park, Ras Al Khaimah in 2012, and again recently reopened in Capital Hotel.

While he earned Canadian immigrant status in 1999, Anton says UAE has become home to him and his family.
