Marie Antonette Custodio is a highly skilled professional with more than 10 years practical experience in hospital, polyclinic, industrial health and primary care environment. 

When she came to Dubai, all she wanted was to obtain a position as a Registered Nurse which will enable her to fully utilize her knowledge, skills and clinical experience to enhance the quality of patient care. Little did she know that she would be hired for a top management post in one of the highly-respected health care facility in Dubai.

In 2006, she was admitted as a registered nurse by Department of Health & Authority in Dubai. She was then hired as Aero medical and Clerical Staff Nurse in 2006 by UniCare Medical Centre.

She was also named as, on a concurrent capacity, as FAA’s (Federal Aviation Administration) representative in local communities that provide guidance to the public on matters dealing with the medical aspects of aviation safety and aero medical certification.

She also takes charge of the Customer service, quality physical exams, instruction and oversight of the completion of the form and quality assurance in completing and submission of the form.

She is responsible for monitoring and ordering AME (aero medical examiner) supplies. On top of these responsibilities, she plays a vital role in the security of the certification system.

In recognition of her performance notwithstanding her advantage as career oriented equipped with a strong medical background and education, she was also named as Assistant Head Nurse for Corporate – Occupational Health Services in 2006.

In 2007, she satisfactory completed the aviation medical certification standards and procedure training from the Civil Aerospace medical institute, federal aviation administration, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 2011, she successfully completed the cognitive and skills evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association, BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR and AED) Program.

She earned her degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Perpetual Help, Philippines in 2002. In the same year, she passed the licensure examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission in Manila.

She first worked as a Staff Nurse and Charge Nurse at the Calamba Doctor’s Hospital in Calamba City from 2002-2004.

From 2004 to 2005, she was employed as an Industrial Nurse/ Human Resources Personnel at the Ayala super mart corporation in Alabang. In this post, she conducted preliminary interviews, endorses qualified applicants for second and final interview. She conducted background investigation on previous assignment, endorsed applicants to authorized clinic for physical examination, and confirmed physical fitness of the applicants. She also provided first aid treatment to employees who suffer from accident or feel unwell while working inside the company, administers prescribed medicines to ailing employees, monitors and purchases over the counter medicines.
