Money remittance expert makes it big in Dubai

Genesis Kelly S. Lontoc is one remarkable business leader and visionary in the Middle East whose passion for service is beyond reproach and who is praised for his continuing commitment to excellence and development of best practices and innovative strategies.

With nearly two decades of a successful career in the corporate world from being an Investment Analyst to National Sales Manager in his home country until his appointment as Head-Corridor Marketing for Southeast Asia of a multi-billion firm in the United Arab Emirates, he remains true to his vision.

Gemmy, as he is affectionately known, has been working at UAE Exchange since April 18, 2013. Then, as the Head of the Philippines Corridor, his primary responsibility was to lead and develop programs to grow the Philippines business at UAE Exchange.

UAE Exchange is the World’s Trusted Money Transferrer. Its strong network spreads across 5 continents spanning 30 countries with over 700 direct offices. It aspires to be the most admired global brand in money transfer, foreign exchange and payment solutions. Gemmy tries to exemplify the company’s core values – integrity, commitment, empowerment and care.

“The sustained success of the company is due to its passion for excellence. I work in a dynamic service environment. My day usually begins by reading news and reviewing my itinerary. The next parts of the day are devoted to various meetings and field work.”

Gemmy takes pride of his roots. “I am proud to be a Filipino. Working abroad is in my bucket list. Being a global Filipino and serving other global Filipinos make my work fulfilling. Filipinos should have pride and resilience. One needs purpose, passion and perseverance to succeed.”

Taking inspiration from his memorabilia collection, Gemmy looks forward with great determination. “My dream is for the Philippines to become one of the top economies. Every Filipino must dream big and work hard”.

And what better way is to set a good example. “In line with professional development and also my mission for better financial literacy, I became an Associate Financial Planner in 2015. I hope to encourage more Filipinos to save more and invest more.”

For him, success is a journey. “I am grateful to the Lord for all the achievements that have happened. I am working on my next great achievement. I have a feeling that my greatest achievement in life is yet to come.” – Migrant Pen
