Jeanette Bocobo  is a name you would surely not miss. She is the first Filipina Chief Editor of an international and travels tourism magazine based in UAE. She is the first Filipina who initiated an international tourism campaign for the Emirates of Fujairah. She is the first Filipina who initiated “Toys for the Big Boys 2013”, a fundraising event for the Fujairah Charity Association patronized by the Crown Prince of Fujairah – HH Sheik Mohamad Bin Hamad Al Sharqi.

Also known as Aishah, she is currently the CEO of En’ Route Media Inc. FZ LLC and the Chief Editor of OMG Magazine NEW YORK. Apart from the position she holds, she was recently appointed as Marketing Director of the International Media Training Institute.

Passion for writing

Aishah, a graduate of Marketing and Advertising from the University of the Philippines, acquired her Masters Degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Liverpool.  She’s a marketing strategist who’s passion for writing drove her to pursuit a career in journalism. Being well travelled, she combines this passion with a vision to discover the world and sharing her experiences with a wider audience.

The more Aisha travels, the more she feels the need to document her experiences and give fellow travel enthusiasts some insight into potential destinations with first-hand education that only travel can provide.

Aisha does not travel to simply check countries off a list. Apart from visiting popular sights that a particular destination may offer, she prefers to focus on the human interactions and lessons learned along the way. She is a lover of nature, a foodie and a mom to everyone.  She intends to serve the industries she writes about and is determined to come up with solutions in the same way she has overcome hardships in the past to achieve what she feels brings out the best in her.

Foray into the publishing

Her foray into the publishing world successfully motivates her further into other ventures like events and collaborations that elevate both her team and the people and places around her.

En’ Route Media is a distinctive diverse agency, rich in local culture with both intimacy and scale. Producing events and publishing is the heart of what we do. “Our primary focus is ensuring that our clients’ business objectives are meet from creative concept to execution and importantly, beyond the event.”

Fujairah rocks

Aishah is the brain behind the “I Love Fujairah” project. “This is a project and event that is very close to my heart in addition to having the opportunity of working with an internationally known Pop Artist Marco from New York City.”

“It was created as a cool fun place where interesting inquisitive intelligent folks can come to learn more about the amazing and all-too-often overlooked Emirate of Fujairah. It aims to similarly excite, inform, and invite these and the rest of the visitors to the UAE to look past the glitz, glamour, and over the top excesses of Dubai and take a ride along a highway flanked by sheer mountainsides to see and experience another side of the UAE, a place where local culture lives where visitors can experience the original lifestyle of the Emirates in all its unique raw beauty.”
